Psalms 80:8-16

8 You removed a ^avine from Egypt;
You ^bdrove out the ^{▼▼ Or Gentiles}nations and ^dplanted it.
9 You ^ecleared the ground before it,
And it ^ftook deep root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shadow,
And ^{▼▼ Or its boughs are like the cedars of God}the cedars of God with its ^hboughs.
11 It was sending out its branches ⁱto the sea
And its shoots to the River.
12 Why have You ^jbroken down its ^{▼▼ Or walls, fences}hedges,
So that all who pass that way pick its fruit?
13 A boar from the forest ^leats it away
And whatever moves in the field feeds on it.

14 O God of hosts, ^mturn again now, we beseech You;
ⁿLook down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,
15 Even the ^{▼▼ Or root
,} ^pshoot which Your right hand has planted,
And on the ^{▼▼ Or figuratively: branch}son whom You have ^{▼▼ Or secured}strengthened for Yourself.
16 It is ^sburned with fire, it is cut down;
They perish at the ^trebuke of Your countenance.
